On 6 and 7 March 2018 the University of Silesia hosted a delegation from the University of Dunaújváros [1] (Dunaújvárosi Egyet) - a Hungarian state higher education institution. The program of the visit included a meeting with representatives of the University authorities; our guests also visited the Faculty of Computer Science and Materials Science [2] in Chorzów and Sosnowiec.
The Hungarian university was represented by the Rector, dr. habil István András and Vice-Rector of Academic and General Affairs dr. habil Mónika Rajcsányi-Molnár. The delegation also included rectors' assistants and representatives of the international relations office.
The meeting with the Rector of the University of Silesia prof. dr. hab. Andrzej Kowalczyk [3] and Vice-Rector for Domestic and International Cooperation, dr. hab. prof. Tomasz Pietrzykowski [4], was held on 6 March in the University Rectorate. During the meeting the University of Silesia was also represented by the Career Office [5], Office for Industry Cooperation [6] and the Department of International Relations.
The visit was a great opportunity to get to know both universities, as well as to talk about the possibilities of cooperation.
